2003 Newport sonship

fan tail was launched in 2003 and has undergone two maintenance appointments throughout her life: the first in 2011 when the cockpit was extended now featuring an expansive cockpit with swim platform, as well as two centerline transom doors, and a second in 2020 and a most recent, july of 2023 a 1/2 tower with helm station was added. both were conducted in the united states. with an interior volume of 125 gt and a three stateroom layout, fantail can accommodate up to six guests. she also has accommodations for 3 crew members in two separate quarters aft. exterior and naval architecture drawn up by jack sarin and an interior designed by her builder, west bay sonship yacht. in terms of performance, fan tail is powered by twin cat engines that give her a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 28 knots.
