this abs a1 semi-submersible tank barge, built in 2009, is engineered for the transport and float-over of offshore structures and floating units. with an loa of 122.00 m, breadth of 36.58 m, and depth of 7.62 m, the unit features a max draft of 5.843 m and can submerge to a max draft of 14.62 m, enabling operations irrespective of water depth. the max submersion capability is 7.0 m above main deck level, allowing the vessel to serve a wide range of offshore and port-related transportation needs. at full submersion, the barge offers a displacement of 23,964.66 t and a dwt of 18,536.63 t. the free deck area measures approximately 105 m x 36 m and supports a uniform deck loading of 20 t/m², making it suitable for heavy modules, topsides, jackets, and port equipment such as rmqcs, rtgs, and csus. internally, the vessel is subdivided into 25 watertight compartments and fitted with 24 ballast tanks. ballast operations are handled by 2 pumps, each rated at 1,000 m³/h at approximately 25 m wh. the barge is powered by 2 x 480 kw gensets (440 v, 3 ph, 50 hz) and equipped with a 3,540 kg stockless bow anchor on a dedicated winch. a 4-point mooring system is installed for precise on-site positioning. additional features include trim, heel, and draft indicators, remote sounding for all ballast tanks, and removable stern and starboard caissons, enhancing operational versatility. the unit is also well-suited for remote-area dry docking of rigs, dredgers, tugs, and barges, offering exceptional stability and submersion control.
