quintessence is regarded as one of the most beautiful and well-kept club swan 42s in the us. she has been stored indoors in heated storage for 6 months every year in the same boatyard since purchased new in 2007, where she currently lies. she has only been used for coastal racing in southern new england. her decks and hull were recently repainted along with many other updates and refitting. quintessence comes with a full current north and doyle race inventory and electronics, having last competed in the new york yacht club 175th anniversary regatta in 2019, placing 3rd in her class.
