"whisper" is a well-built modification of the famous nathaniel herreshoff h28 sailing vessel from the 1920s. she was built by professional shipwrights in port townsend, wa and is capable of blue water cruising or local sailing, in comfort and safety. the hull is of heavily laid-up fiberglass laminate, while the frames, deck, and interior are wood, using solid and laminated tropical and pacific northwest hardwoods. she is equiped with high quality sails, standing and running rigging, mechanical and electrical equipment, and has been well maintained.
