1979 Catalina

i bought another boat here in honolulu and am ready to let this one go. it's been up in dry storage since i moved out here in january 2023. i just went and checked on it back in february 2024 and it is in need of a thorough cleaning. there's cob webs, dust, ect. on the inside and the outside is pretty filthy as well, sun covers for the sails are sun faded, pictures are from december 2022/january 2023. this boat needs a good few days of cleaning and going through plus a quick coat of bottom paint to be splashed back it. the cutless bearing looks to be in great condition but it's already out of the water so you might as well have the yard do that as well if they do the bottom paint. open to pretty much any offers, i would need a pretty solid commitment/deposit to fly back in to show the boat. the engine only has 600 hrs on it, it's a newer universal 4 cyl diesel, the sails have one summer of cruising down to catalina and back on them and are also essentially new. very nice mediterranean 3-burner gimballed lpg marine oven/stove, diesel cabin heater, and nice 44# bronze self-tailing winches. dinghy and everything else also included, brand new solar charger/controller and panel and dc-dc 40amp charger. 60 amp global input shorepower charger and a 1800w inverter. batteries are a few years old, 3 house bank 8d flooded batteries and a 8d agm battery for the engine. 2 double berths and 2 baths plus the two setees in the salon with large folding table, great coastal cruiser, just didn't have the time to fit it out for an ocean passage and take it across the pacific. give me a call or text for any questions, very open to offers since i just got another one, don't need 2.
