2009 Able

this is a hull that was first started pre 2010 but wasn’t completed and remained in shipyard with the idea of being completed by various owners and never was. she is currently alongside (a/s) in a european shipyard. the hull is complete, and the thruster package (all rolls royce) is being stored at the kongsberg facility in norway – engines are also installed but are only tier 1 so will likely be required to be upgraded. attached are a couple of recent photos taken last month – as you can see, she has been looked after and kept in readiness mode with a view of completing her. this is an mt6040 norwegian design unit with a hull size of 109m x 22m hull – 1200m2 of main deck and potential accommodation for 120 persons subject to final fit out. she may be bought “as is/ where is” including thruster package/ engines for price ideas in the region of us$17m. vessel may be finished in same european shipyard or towed to any shipyard (globally) choice for completion – no crane is included in the sale. enclosed vessel specifications as she was supposed to be completed. current owners are able to assist with a comprehensive package of drawings, certificates and advise on completion of the vessel to the specification attached. we do not expect this hull to be available for long as all spare assets that were in the market are quickly being hoovered up. inspections for this unit may be arranged with minimal fuss – all we would need is contact details for buyer’s inspectors including a copy of passport and expectation on when they would like to inspect. vessel is a/s at yard, so easy to arrange. estimated time to complete to original spec subject to equipment delivery would be approx. 12 months depending on shipyard.
