in 2001 this boat cost with the trailer. the replacement value is over to buy this new. \n \nthis boat is mechanically turn-key. runs and looks great. \n \nstraight talk = this boat is reliable, good on gas, and looks sharp. \nyou can bring your kids, family, friends, and co-workers out and back, with confidence and pride. \n \nwe are avid and adventurous boaters. this boat has gone from beverly, ma to new hampshire, stellwagen bank, province town, boston, and handled it all very well. \n \nit gets \"up on plane\" effortlessly at low, medium, and fast speeds. and gives a great smooth ride. \n \nwe've had this maxum for about ten years and have bought another maxum. \n \nreplaced the engine by a professional. the original engine was carburated and the oil pan was weeping oil. \ni had it taken out and replaced by a professional marine mechanic. \ni will introduce you to the mechanic and provide the receipts. \n \nupgraded engine = mercury mercruiser = 5.0 litre mpi multiport fuel injected engine. \nincluding all new risers, pumps, belts, serpentine belt, tension pully's, alternator, distributor wires, plugs, and more, this motor runs, looks and sounds great. \nall new gimble bearings, bellows, boots, hydraulics, seals it's beautiful. \n \noutdrive = 1st be proud of owning an i/o, stern drive. \nthey offer much more room in your boat, better engines, nice quiet powerful engine with great performance. \nthey run for many years with routine care. i'll show you how i have winterized and maintained the boat as you will too. \n \ngas! it is great, on gas.we cruise from beverly out past rockport then up to ipswich and into the annisquam river, then pull up onto wingersheek beach in gloucester for free access to the entire beach for the day. \nusually, on the return trip we head on the aqasquam river, under the cool bridge, into gluchester harbor, then pull into manchester harbor and go to the public launch and get ice cream before heading back to beverly. \nand we still have plenty of gas in the tank. \n \ntrailer: dual axel, galvanized, easy roll-on trailer. i use it in the boat yard to haul in and out for cleaning or winterization. the brakes are disconnected but the trailer hauls this boat well. it is the \"matched\" trailer that came with the boat new. \n \nyou can haul outhaul-out this boat by yourself without any help. because it's so easy to launch i prefer to do it alone. \n \nthe cabin pictures are not good. the cabin looks nicer when it's not full of our stuff. \n it has a porta potty and v-berth with cushions which we seldom use. the cabin is good for the way home or to get out of the sun or relax on the way home from a great day of fun at wingaersheek or crane's beach. \n \n the cabin is a great place to stow our wetsuits, inflatables, and other boating toys. we keep the cushions at home every winter and when not in use, so they look great. \n \nthis boat can tow our 15 foot inflatable hotdog loaded with 5 adults! \n \nvery comfortable seating for six adults or legally holds 9 persons. \nthe outside deck cushions are adjustable and interchangeable with different combinations for the layouts for seats, pads and cushions to accommodate your needs. sun deck, lounge or back to back seating are just some of the many positions. \n \nthe swim platform is very comfortable with a full length, side-to-side, cushion and retractable ladder. \n \ni am also available to help you in many ways. i'd be glad to show you anything you would need to know. \ni'll show how to start, pilot/launch/haul, winterize and more. \n \ni may also be able to help you find a place to keep the boat. \n \ni look forward to you meeting and helping you become the next owner of this fine vessel. \nif you are an expert boater or inexperienced, i would like to help you to make this a great experience. \n \ni am well versed in boating and the ways of craig's list, so let's make this easy for both of us as buyer & seller. \n \nwe already bought a new boat so we are ready to sell this maxum. \n \nthis boat has everything. from a spare rowboat to multi anchors and much much more. \nwe have all of the marine carpets for the floors and cushions for the cabin. \nalso has the mooring cover. \n \nstorage = available \nyear-round storage may also be available. \n \ni don't see e-mails too often, and texting is too slow. \n \nplease call me to schedule a time that is convenient for you. \n \nsincerely \nharry
