cruiser designed by frers and built by carroll marine, ri, usa in 1990. this design has been a successful racer under a number of different rules. this 45 has been top boat on chesapeake bay in pfrf and won its class in the 2023 annapolis newport race. it has undergone recent improvements and has been maintained for complete functionality and safety, and competitiveness. it is ocean and inshore race ready with updated equipment, rigging, electronics, sails and safety gear. it is truly in “just add crew” mode. recent additions include a new 2025 #3 blade jib and a new orc custom bowsprit as well as a new custom carbon engine box.. it is also a comfortable fast cruiser with 2 private cabins and berths for 6 with a full galley and enclosed head with shower. a leisure furl boom for easy
