this 27? boat will need updating but please read this fully. i am not a sailor, let alone a catamaran sailor. i took this boat out once with a very experienced sailor and it was too scary for me. so i parked it outside my house in maine. it may not have every single part. i am told that there should be "slats" which are attached to the sail. have not been able to quickly locate these. all the major parts are there and the sail and jib are barely used. the motor mount (aluminum) needs a weld. (no motor included). the trailer has an issue with the rear left leaf spring. i drove it down from maine 375-miles like this and it trailered fine, probably because the entire unit is so light (aircraft honeycomb–unsinkable) that it could probably trailer on two wheels only. but that would be up to your judgement to decide. (i would delver it within 2-hours of its location for only the cost of the gasoline (both directions)). at some point, the axle work should probably be done. my intention was to convert it to an electric cruiser. then covid interrupted this plan. i work with z-electric vehicles in west virginia. we just got very busy and so i must abandon my plans for this but the new owner can complete it. we can furnish the necessary components. basically it would require an electric outboard, a battery pack and optionally, solar panels. there is one other optional item. we call it a range extender, which is a tiny inverter generator that can not power the boat. what it can do is greatly extend the cruising range on a charge, or, in an emergency, it can slowly charge the batteries without solar. we use these range extenders on electric motorcycles and trikes. what is included is the boat, the mast, boom, etc., sails and trailer. thanks. (contact me for more photos and photos of the batteries / solar panels we propose). maine does not have titles for equipment this old. you can check with augusta. they use registrations which have a transfer of ownership section on the back. . i would also furnish a bill of sale for each of the boat and trailer. i also have the original papers from bruce hill yacht sales in vermont to me, along with about an inch of original paperwork, parts list and set up instructions. this is considered a "project" boat. the is firm. thanks. posted: june 11, 2022, 11:28 am
